Just wondered what LP deserves more appreciation and I believe that Help gets overlooked. A sparkling pop LP just at the cusp of them developing.

I have 2 that get me a bit niffed
Yellow Submarine and Let It Be
They always seem to get criticism by the "new" generation of Beatle fans

Yellow Submarine is hated. but it is an excellent album.

Pothos, I see what you mean by Help!
Rubber Soul was a big step forward, Revolver a big step past that, and then there's Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band after that.
And Help! was the last album before Rubber Soul. It seems that the critics didn't particularly care for Beatles For Sale; Help! sort of made up for that.

Now, if you were talking the American Capitol Dexterized albums, then that would be Beatles '65. It more or less corresponds to Beatles For Sale, which was a sort of letdown. However, '65 had fewer songs, the omitted ones being weaker tracks held for later release in Beatles VI, and was bolstered by the presence of the single sides "I Feel Fine" and "She's a Woman." www.amazon.com/Beatles-65/dp/B00GJ7RP10/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519597611&sr=8-1&keywords=beatles+%2765+albumOK, "Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey" is pretty good. But I still say Beatles '65 is the most underrated Dexterized release.

I don’t think there are any underrated Beatles albums, I don’t consider Yellow Submarine or MMT Beatles albums. YS is barely half an album and MMT was a Capitol concoction. The White album would get my vote for most overrated, Beatles for Sale though not their best is my favor to listen to because it’s so understated. I hear many criticize Let it Be, but how many Beatles albums boast 3 #1 songs and could have had a couple more under different circumstances. Plus they left Down Let Me Down off the album. Side 1 of Help gets my vote for best album side, 3 #1’s of that album also.

without a doubt for me the best Beatle LP and probably the best lp ever made in my book is of course Meet The Beatles! I've had that thing for 57 years and must have played it a million times lol There may have been LPs that have sold more and got better raves, but nothing will ever surpass the pleasure and smiles I got from playing that album over and over and over!! lol
But is it underrated, it may be by today's standards.

What I find fasinating is how much of their work is still relevent and top quality songwriting. I still get a kick out of listening to Tomorrow Never Knows. A track from the mid 1960's that has such an influence on the rave scene nearly 30 years later.
