While going thru the web looking for Harrison's Gibson SG I stumbled upon an internet feud between Ron Griffiths of the Iveys and Joey Molland of Badfinger. These are the only surviving members left of their respective bands. A little history on the feud may have started in late 1969 when Ron was the bass player in The Iveys with Peter Ham, Tom Evans and I think Mike Gibbins was on drums. They were just about to break with Paul's 'Come & Get It' tune for Apple when they got rid of Ron and hired Joey. Sort of a Pete and Ringo type deal. As soon as Joey was hired they changed their name to Badfinger after Neil Aspinall named them for a tune 'Badfinger Boogie' that John was working on which finally became 'With A Little Help From My Friends' years earlier. Tom Evans switched over to bass and Joey went to lead guitarist. Now the internet feud started some 40 years later when Ron noticed he was never given royalties for songs that the Iveys did while at Apple and those royalties were given to Joey by mistake. He said that Joey knew he never played on those songs and never reported it. Joey said he never looked and just cashed the checks. So it was finally settled, but their is still some animosity between the two.
Just was wondering if anyone else knew about this feud, and what they thought of it?

According to Joey in a recent interview, Ron left the Iveys because he wanted to settle down with a family.
