New here, although I made one post in 2014. Newish generation fan:I was born about a year before John's death, and oh how I wish I'd been a teen in the 60s!! I really got into them with the Anthology series in the 1990s. I could listen to them all day every day. I am generally an "early Beatles" fan, but of course love it all! I am trying to indoctrinate my kids, but so far of my "old" stuff they prefer Michael Jackson and Elvis Costello, go figure! (Although of course both past collaborators of Paul!)
welcome to the forum. Be patient with your kids, eventually they will see the light. I initially got into the Beatles by buying 62.to 66 then rediscovered all the gems on 67 -70 . I think you probably have to me mid teens to grasp the complexities of the later stuff.
Kp2479, you would NOT want to have been a teenager in the '60s, if you were an American male. At 18, you registered with the Selective Service, and they were drafting boys to fight in a war the country did not appear to want to win.
