Hello all my name is Jake I am from Wisconsin, USA and I am a die hard Beatles/Solo Beatles fan and collector!!!! I first got introduced to The Beatles from my dad when I was a little kid, being 31 now it has now been pretty much a lifestyle that I hope to pass onto my children one day. My first ever records I ever herd from my dad were Abbey Road and Let It Be, and my first ever solo Beatles cd I herd was The Best Of George Harrison. As I got older I started buying my own Beatles music and memorabilia and started to get into the history of who and what The Beatles were all about as people and a band and also the people in the studios George Martin, Giles Martin, and Brian Epstein to name a few. I remember seeing the commercial for Paul McCartney Wingspan History and Hits 2 cd on tv one day and back then I wish I had the money to buy the albums but didn't and for a while I was sad but knew one day I would own it. So searching for Beatles and solo Beatles cds on ebay I came across Paul McCartney Wingspan and then since I had the money finally I decided I needed it and got it and never stopped listing to it. My Beatles and solo Beatles collection mainly consists of music but also expanding into dvds, clothes, toys, posters, books and magazines and anything I can afford without going broke. My current projects are getting anything Beatles cds I don't have and been really trying to get into vinyl as of late I bought a 1978 copy of Something New that I thought was from 1964 but turns out it wasn't and got a copy of 1970 Let It Be and that was the original so I was very happy!!! My other project is the Paul McCartney Archive Collection 2 cd set, I got in today Tug Of War and missing Venus And Mars and McCartney II also got in this week a cd/dvd 1966 Japan live set very happy to get that in helps the collection out very much also looking to get the Shea Stadium cd Candlestick Park dvd set in soon, soo much stuff to get!!!
I will end it there

I will end it there welcome to the forum, yes the trouble with being a Beatles fan is the never ending of collecting records and memorabilia that's available . And this 50th Anniversary of Pepper is not cheap for a start, but luckily it only comes round every 50 years ha ha .

Hello Beatle Fans.
I am a new member and hoping to get some help.
I have just set up the old family stereo from the 70's and have begun to play the many albums we'd kind of forgotten about. One such album, a Capitol Record pressing of the White Album and lo and behold, side 1 is repeated on side 2 as well! Label promises side 2 and "Martha My Dear", but plays "Back in the USSR"! Again.
I was interested in finding out if this was unusual and If I have a rare find?
Thanks and I look forward forward to reading these forums.
Dave

Dave Hi and welcome, Beatles mispressings are not that unusual and not particularly sought after by collectors which keeps the price down. Mispressings can come in many guises, some like yours with the actual disc duplicated or labels wrong (I had one once with a Four Tops label on a Beatle record). Some records even had the wrong coloured vinyl, so I would just keep it as a novelty and treasure it.
