I'll get it for the live Martha puppy. I can't see a price on this yet, no doubt it'll b e as expensive as that Kate Bush Before the dawn vinyl i got for Christmas , that was £60.

Phew. I can get the vinyl for that one over here for $65 CAD. Probably for a limited time.
But I can't get everything and I have to realize that I'm just fine with the original albums and don't need the mega-sets with 8 discs of livingroom discussions and unrecognizable remixes and a book loaded with info and lots of pics. Also I don't NEED the marbles and scarfs and picture umbrellas either. If I was still 15 then I would give it an honest try but the Joshua Tree is 30. The Kate Bush pack is likely limited. Another bloody Hard Days Night book. There's been anniversaries galore over the last few years and I just had to give up! Can't do it.
So I've concluded that I will wait and see if APPLE do anything remotely like my guess up above and save for that. And the fact That Roger Waters has a new one this year.
I might add that the White album is my favorite album but what else could they give us? I have all the Esher demos and a bunch of sessions unless they gave us the half hour version of Helter Skelter but if the excerpt on Anthology Two was the best part then it was probably quite boring.
I decided I want Pepper if they do what I suggested up top. But I don't need a puppy.

I'm fricking hyped, I haven't listened to The Beatles in a while but when I saw this yesterday I was blown away. Cannot wait for its release.

yes just checked the trailer, i'm assuming "The Making of Sgt Pepper dvd" is the official one we've all been waiting for that was featured on The South Bank Show which was wonderful. Being me, i expect i will not be happy with a two cd package and buy the most expensive Vinyl package( it has to be vinyl) available that i don't have the money to pay for. I'm a sucker for extras , especially dvd's and Beatles extras are a cut above all other bands extras.

So,,, still no bloody Carnival Of Light then. Do you think the reason for that is because Macca (Or the powers that be ) thinks it`s crap ?

Macca's the one who always wanted it out! George and Yoko always put the brakes on that idea. He'll have to 'accidentally' leave a tape of it somewhere and I guarantee you we'll all have it the next day. That's the only way he's gonna get it out in his lifetime.

So obviously I'm gonna have to get the super deluxe box but I'm disappointed it doesn't have the live Martha puppy and the 6 tabs of acid.

I want that 5.1 mix, but that's serious money for the deluxe. I'll probably settle for the 1 or 2 CD options...

Just reading Beatles 66 (highly recommend). Late 65 and into 66, McCartney was heavily into avante garde, experimental music, beat poetry, alternative thinking etc way before Lennon was. You wonder if the reasoning behind Yoko stopping the release of Carnival of Light is to maintain the myth that Lennon it was only Lennon into the avante garde scene. If anyone wants Carnival of Light to come out it's McCartney. That said it probably is crap otherwise it would have been out by now.

That's possible too. In the sober cold light of day it likely is amateurish noise. It was made for, let's face it, an acid freak out.
