Yesterday i unwrapped and played my vinyl version of Love. What a beautiful package. When playing albums i try not to look at the track lists to maximise my surprise(even though i have it on CD.) Unfortunately my neighbour was sitting outside reading a book so i began playing the album with my patio doors closed so not to disturb her. However not long into side one of four i realised this musical orgasm or eargasm should be heard by the world. I then opened slightly my patio doors. Then a gust of win blew them wide open , This was probably God having his say too ha ha . At the end of the fantastic album i went out to speak to my neighbour to check it wasn't too loud. I've been surprised that before when i've stood out on my patio with music playing how quiet it plays outside. Not so in my neighbours ears. She is the least nostalgic person i know. She said she was a little fed up hearing stuff she'd heard lots before and at the original time. I did explain this was Love The Cirque de soleil album where you were hearing Beatles songs differently and in unusual order. I'd have thought with this of all albums she'd appreciate the absolute variety , as there maybe the odd Beatles song you don't like but hang around you'll hear one you do in a minute or 2. I wonder if she'd have been so dismissive of hearing music she'd already heard too much had i played some Beethoven , would she have heard this too much as well. I bet most of you haven't played this album in a while, i suggest getting it out again , it's wonderful.
