LOL They would never have wanted, for the long run, Allan at the wheel! First of all he didn't like their music. When you're young and the guy that you have running the show doesn't even like what you're doing.... well you're gone. Brian on the other hand loved what they were doing and they, mostly John, looked up to him. Do you think if Allan would have told them to stop wearing leathers they would have given a crap? lol
You're right Rocky. The Beatles were merely a business venture for him. Brian spent a lot of his own money on The Beatles before seeing any return because he believed in them and their music. I couldn't see Allan doing the same even if he had the money.
Hello Beatle fans...I recently purchased a CD The Man Who Gave The Beatles Away. The Allan "Williams Interviews." It is on Pulse Recording and released in 2000....this copy is signed by Allan and I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me a little about this release. Also did anyone else get this CD signed by Allan when and where? Many thanks everybody I'm just going to keep Beatle.ing away.
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Bobber: Not sure. It's an expensive trip for me plus I'm starting a new job around that time.

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
