Frank Zappa's 1st TV appearance was on the Steve Allen show in 1963...playing bicycle! I wouldn't technically call it "embarrassing" so much as "wonderfully amusing" as Zappa is clearly having fun and Allen plays along without being condescending Presenting..."Improvisation for 2 Bicycles, Pre-recorded Tape and Musical Ensemble"...

I love U2 ! Ever thought about what is the worse Radio station in the universe ? Well , I know it, I have suffered it at work for over 30 years , It`s Manchester`s Key 103 Anyway this is a double excruciating Video for me The Spice Girls Posh likes shopping apparently ( she`d better marry someone who`s bloody loaded then in the future and ruin there career then ) On a personal note If they ever brought back hanging and Mr Penk was been done for his crimes to Radio , Music and shaming Manchester , I can knit a black cap ASAP

Jimi & Jimmy, these were great Rocky! Jimi threw some cool overhand swoops in but I kept waiting for Jimmy to break out the violin bow and give us some psychedelic skiffle

Don't think this ever made the TV but this lot crucified 'The final countdown' and if they were not embarrassed they ought to be.

I cannot believe Toni Arthur went down this route, she was a seriously good folk singer in the late 1960's and early 1970's. I put a track of her singing on the Mr. K's folk thread.

Don't think it was his first TV appearance, but it sure was embarrassing! Talk about embarrassing. I just happened to be watching this program when this happened to good old Pat!
