I'm coming down from Glasgow to do the Beatles tour in January.
Is the Cavern Club open throughout the winter?
I don't want to book everything then be met with a closed door .

Hi Ian - welcome to the forum. You'll like it here. Hope you stick around.
There are lots and lots of pubs in Liverpool, some that have Beatles related relevance and history. If you're interested in a Beatles themed pub crawl, you can do a lot worse than THIS. The Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool isn't a pub as such but it's completely Beatle themed. It has a few bars and also a nice restaurant if you fancy popping in for a meal. But be warned, it's very expensive. You can read all about it HERE.
Nice to have you around.

Nice to have you around. Once again thanks very much for the warm welcome and for the advice . I'm going to put a good bit of planning into the trip and make the very most of it so this is helpful.

I'm already looking forward to a pint in the Grapes and White Star. I know it's a bit away but I'll post a report on here once I've visited.

Welcome! Yes, the Cavern and Cavern pub are open everyday throughout winter. From 1pm I believe. You will have a great time!

You must try the Ye Cracke as well. It's the other side off the town centre, about a 20 minute walk from the Cavern, but definitely worth putting on your itinary.

While you are near the Cracke, you could also pop into the Jacaranda.
