Does anybody on here play musical instruments?
If so, which ones do you play?

Hello again WhoseLine
There a few excellent Musicians on here I`m not one of them but .. I have tried to play guitars over the years and I`m still trying . Did play one song though at a small venue a few years ago , just a blues riff while the other two band members did their stuff . Got to say it was one of the biggest Buzz`s of my life .

Piano and guitar. I also used to play the tuba. Before the tuba was the cornet.
Not to brag, but my two brothers and I once worked up a convincing version of "And Your Bird Can Sing." The guitar-playing brother let me play the upper guitar part.
Actually, it was awesome!
Not to brag.

Started out on the clarinet and then switched to the guitar with a dabble at the keyboards.

After two years lying dormant I'm in another casual covers band AGAIN lumbered with playing bass. But this time there are lots of songs I like and over time we'll be chipping away at the Abbey Road medley which I've always wanted to do with someone.

I'm very fortunate to have grown up surrounded by music (especially Beatle music!) and a mother and grandmother who supported and encouraged me to learn - and had a high toleration for noise Began playing keyboards at 4, guitar at 8, drums at 15 and bass at 16. Played in a few SF bay area prog rock bands in the late 70's then by 20 decided I was sick of the interpersonal drama of band life. Got a reel-to-reel and started writing and recording all the parts myself back in 1980, and continue to do the "one man band" thing today. I have 4 currently active bands: Mutiny in Jonestown: prog rock WytchCrypt: doom metal Morpheus: synthesizer/electronic/classical The Alchemy of Atlantis: experimental I'm currently working on an album of Beatle covers arranged for pedal steel guitar (with bass and drums). So far 22 songs and just over 60 minutes completed - hoping to wrap up Hello Goodbye today and finish the album by Christmas If anyone's curious ... Mutiny in Jonestown is the longest and most prolific of my bands with over 30 albums released since 1987. I have a recent best-of compilation up on soundcloud at: soundcloud.com/dennis-m-366105599/sets/the-witching-hour-mutiny-in-jonestownThe most recent WytchCrypt album is at: soundcloud.com/dennis-m-366105599/sets/wytchcrypt-novembre-sorciere-crypte

Damn prolific! Because I Don't actually have internet I depend on out of date mobile devices at friendly WiFi cafes for my Beatles Forum activities. Sooooooo,,,, Any way to download any of that stuff so I can hear it on iTunes etc???
Here's one of my experimental bits. Combo drone/doom without the downtuning. Check my Chanel through this vid to get an idea of what I've been pretending to be over the last 30 plus years.
Cheers.

Thank you kindly. Most people I know would have called my music boring. Let me know if you looked at my channel.
I'm checking out your stuff and I've been a naughty boy as I can convert YouTube stuff to mp3 and download it into my media player illegally. I'll grab a few tunes and critique them.

Not boring to me. I love doom and slow funeral metal...Black Sabbath was the first band I discovered on my own back in '74 and it took many years for other bands to pick up the doom torch (Cathedral, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, Triptykon, Catacombs, etc). If I had to choose another doom band that your song reminded me of it would definitely be Electric Wizard. Haven't gotten to your channel yet but will check it out. I'm flattered that someone would illegally download one of my songs

Good stuff. Your 78 band totally reminds me of 76 era Genesis. Your doom/stoner one was great. And it's nice to meet someone else who can count past 4.

Thought I would pop this up on here because it just popped into my head. I wonder if anyone else heard this one before? Where Mark Farner of GFR was up on stage and got po'ed because the crowd was booing his guitar solo. I haven't thought of this since 1970. www.snopes.com/music/artists/clapton2.asp
