Let's go back to the thrash now with the signature song of a band that would be a part of the Big 6 of Thrash Metal if there was no such thing as the Big 4.
70. Testament - Practice What You Preach

Nun of this is complete without Lita Ford & Joan Jett’s Runaways, with their big hit Cherry Bomb If that tune was`nt 1976 it would be the first track on this thread I would have liked . Seems that the best songs that rocked the 80`s were 70`s And ... We have posts of bands that started in the 70`s Deep Purple , Saxon , B

It's been a long, long, long time... *Beatlespuncoughcough* So anyways, I started this list last year I think in response to Bongo's takeover of the '80s thread. If you think it's died, it hasn't. Actually, I've remade the entire list and hosted it on my website: sites.google.com/site/listsdiesel11/the-songs-that-rocked-the-80s Check it out and give me your thoughts.

Nobody rocked the 80's harder with a nasty attitude than the original lineup of the Pretenders

Whatever happened to? NENA (Gabriele Kerner at the age of 23)a fairly decent hit in 1983... My mom is from East Germany, and so they got a fair bit of music from West Germany. She actually said that once at a rest stop when she was a child, she saw a group of people that looked like Nena. She didn't realize it then but it would be cool if she really did see them. And that song is tops.

Kool story Day Tripper. I also forgot to mention in the live video I put up the girl jumping around in the background on stage is Nena's daughter. Her NEW video with her 74 yr. old Mother and 24 yr. old daughter.
