Having transfered my Cd collection onto my ipod a few months ago I decided this week to sell the redundant discs to hopefully earn a little beer money for the upcoming Beatleweek. Whilst sorting through the music it was interesting to see, via the album or single covers alone, how the Fab Four inspired some of the Artistes and Bands in my collection. Their cover art may contain a subtle nod towards the Moptops or it could be a downright rip-off of a Beatles album cover, but nevertheless their influence is there for all to see. Here are a couple I noticed... McAlmont and Butler - Yes - John Lennon appears on a poster between the 2 artistes on this 1995 single cover. Paul Weller - Stanley Road - Lennon once again puts in an appearance on the front cover of this 1995 album box set cover. Do any forum members know of any other album/single covers that reference the Beatles?

Not so much in line with the original question but I do recall a comic strip in the UK in the early 1970's under the name The Beakles. One of the oddest things I have ever seen and no one seem to recall it.

I sold off all my CD's while they were still worth something, and I don't miss 'em at all! Good luck and enjoy those frosties....

Here's another 'With The Beatles' related record cover. It's by a Band called Roogalator and I bought it at a car boot sale purely because of the cover...

Me too. Complete genius, hilariously funny but at the same time total admiration for the subject at hand. Can't help but feel Neil Innes was hard done to though.

I assume you're talking about the copyright infringement lawsuit? I find it funny that one song which is still solely credited to Innes is 'Get Up And Go', which I'm sorry to say is the biggest Beatle rip off of them all, how did he get away with that one but got stung on others?
