I cannot get me head around the fact that someone is running an industry faking their signatures. Has the major auction houses ever been fooled as if I had the cash they would be the only route I would go through to get the original Beatles stuff.

Yeah some of the stories those FAKE guitars have are interesting too. I remember last year there was a guitar up for auction that the owner said was signed by John Lennon at the Cavern Club in 1962. He didn't want too much for it either, I think less than $500. No proof though and it didn't sell. Probably thrown in the trash bin by now. I found I still had a couple of pictures of it.

I don't know who that 'expert' was that Rick brought in for that, but he was wrong. The second authenticator, Steve Grad from Beckett, I've seen many times and he knows what he is talking about.
