I loved those tracks as well. It must be nearly 30 years old that LP. Loved Frank Sidebottom as well.

Did you ever see the BBC show on people who have various collections and a man owns thousands of CD's a is still buying about 300 a day. He has them in 6 separate houses.

Can't deal with that much music P. I know some of you think, "no Waters, no Pink Floyd", but look at it! Isn't it so pretty?

OK. Well, I also have a bit of a 78 collection. This is one of my faves for the music and the album cover. Although it's not really vinyl is it. It's easily shattered shellac.

I have a lot of 78's from my uncles house who passed away last year. You would imagine 78's are worth a bit of money but they aren't.

The only stuff that`s worth anything is some jazz, rock and roll and blues.

I've seen that Macca pack. Never picked it up though!!!! Does anybody remember this, or has anybody ever seen this: It's the 'soundtrack' album for THE WALL. Obviously a boot but did Pink Floyd consider putting out a soundtrack album at sometime? It's very nicely edited and includes the 'single' mix of 'When The Tigers Broke Free'. I've only ever seen one of these and that was around '83 or '84. Nowadays you can download so-called WALL 'Soundtracks' but they're just rips from the dvd. None of them have that mix of '....Tigers...' Anywho...... it's a very nice thing to have.......

Yep. That's me reading the paper.
Here's 'The Film' in the box. Whoever compiled it thoughtfully included the Vera Lynn song at the end of side three.

So I was walking down the street just the other day and this Rush album just appeared in my collection. About the sound: It was re-mixed and not compressed as much as the original release, which was a casualty of the loudness war. It does sound different but not drastically so??? It's still pretty dense with a lot of competing layers to listen through. I like the album anyway and it's nice to have the vinyl.

Yes ! I have a few ! Oldies. Gotta say, it's nice to see LPs making a comeback. There's nothing like holding that fine peice of art in your hands, while the music is spinning on the Phonograph! It was just never the same holding a piece of plastic CD case!!!
