Well I have been in this house many times.
I lived at number nine for 3 years. I knew Kath well who owns the house.
Will tell a few stories of the street.

Our house was opposite George's, so we had all the tourist on our doorstep taking photos. Often we would open the curtains of a morning and find faces peering back at us, before pointing at George's and shouting " It's that one " It is a tiny street and would fill up 3,4,5 times a day with tourist. Fun at times, and I must have been on tv IN EVERY COUNTRY, PROBABLY CARRYING SHOPPING HA HA ( oooh cap lock came on )
One sunny day I was sitting outside enjoying the rays. The tour came in and people gathered around me. Many would say hello, and I would back to them. The guide did his talk, then one American guy said " To think, People used to live in these houses" I replied back " What do you think I am, an actor? " It got a few laughs.
Kath who owns the house got fed up at times. I was once return home from work when I saw her waiting around the corner. She explained that she did not want to go into her house until the tour had gone.It must be mad at times for her.

The tour guide told us to respect the current owner privacy, certainly when it came to George's house. We could take our pictures from a distance. It thought it was a good thing.

It was fun most of the time Bobber. It just became normal to us.
I also had the flat next to Epstien's flat in Falkner Street where John and Cyn stayed.

To be honest, although the houses in Arnold Grove did look pretty small from the outside (certainly for a family with 4 children like the Harrisons), it didn't look like a poor or dangerous place.

And I wondered what 'unadopted' meant.
