Jack Ely, lead singer and guitarist with The Kingsmen died recently. Their most celebrated song is ' Louie, Louie' and check out the song at 1:56 when he comes in too early after the guitar break. Class - and they released this take on the single!
R.I.P. Jack Ely (9th February 1947 to 28th April 2015)
Friend: My favorite Beatles song is Band On The Run. Me: It's not a Beatles song. Friend: Wot! That guy, that guy, Paul McCartney sings it right? Me: Yes. Friend: Alright! That one is my favorite Beatle song.
I stand by all I've said about the latest line up of Yes being a bunch of mercenaries. That said, Chris Squire was a true legend. A huge talent. He will be sadly missed in the world of music and the Prog world will seem very empty without him in it.
He passed away awhile ago, but I don't believe we had him up. Delaney Bramlett 12-27-2008 R I P. Live with George, still a Beatle, using his Rocky strat and Delaney using the guitar George gave to him, The Rooftop tele. Also Eric Clapton, Bonnie Bramett and Rita Coolidge.
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
