Rock thank you for that. I am really puzzled by something. I would imagine that musicians have a real love of the instruments they play but many seem to part very easily with them. Is it that they have their special ones and the ones we see them play on tour are different so less worry about damage. I get selling stage wear and to some extent the gold discs but guitars seem so personal. I've never understood that. Musicians often have a personal connection to guitars and are reluctant to part with them.

Yes you would think that they would, but I've seen many, many personal guitars sold at auction and even on eBay! In fact Eric Johnson's 1962 Fender strat is up on eBay right now!
