1978. I believe that is also when (in America at least) the BLUE and RED albums got the colour treatment and Sgt Pepper got a 'marbled' treatment and Love Song got the golden yellow vinyl.

I'll have to post a pic of my Original UK LP collection, and my 4 Canadian Albums (see what I did there, UK LPs & CND Albums) ****Now I'm looking to trade my 2009 stereo CD set for the mono CD set since they look so much like my LP collection I know I've shown this before, my 1991 Apple Hamilton figurines. (Vox Amps bought elsewhere)

Re-posting the '93 Red and Blue albums in their HMV boxes. Got 'em at HMV on Oxford St. There wasn't one on Regent Street? Well it's over 20 years ago now. And the Big Oxford St store has closed down now! Huh!

That's great stuff Amadeus. I sold off most of my CD's since I put it all in iTunes, and could easily burn a CD if need be. I had/have the 8 CD Twickenham set. But to a collector, it's nice seeing that stuff. ** Now there is no way I could put that Abbey Road bag in my iTunes.... Really love that Gold Reel Music disc. Never seen one (other than pics) Keep 'em coming!

You could stick the bag on a record player and get a sound. OK. Here's something else; A first run U.S. Let It Be. Red Apple. Gatefold. Immaculate condition. A view of my Beatles vinyl.

btw I was at Trader Jacks on Sunday (a local flea market) and found a VHS tape of The Beatles 'Let It Be' for a buck in perfect condition!! I've been hunting for that one for years! And that Let It Be fold-out lp is neat I have one of those. Wasn't there a box of that lp*? The Wedding box LP is a pretty rare one. I had that one too, but someone with sticky fingers has it now. The price for that LP is insane!! I remember two lp's that I had a really hard time finding were the Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour MONO lps. Of course all my Beatle lps are American except for the Canadian Beatlemania (With the Beatles) lp. So now I have all the original American Beatle lps that were issued in MONO. *Here it is. I had a chance to buy one of these and changed my mind! www.rarebeatles.com/photospg/letbx.htm

Canada got the Let It Be box set. I have a mono Pepper. Canadian of course. Rare Canadian Beatles '65 on red Capitol label. Very few Beatles records got the red label. It was mainly the green one. An example of genuine and counterfeit Vee-Jay stuff. The Beatles Tell All is counterfeit because it was never released in stereo at the time. And the 'Songs, Pictures.....' lying down because, for one thing, the title is wrong and it doesn't have the 3/4 gatefold that the genuine one has. And fake Vee-Jays aren't rainbow label and Introducing The Beatles is separated from The Beatles by the hole on the record itself.

Ok, I'll start with my Canadian Albums Nice mono copies of the 3 original Canadian LPs (and as we all know Beatlemania! With the Beatles was the very first N.A. LP released 2 days after the UK With The Beatles). Followed by Twist And Shout early '64 3rd and Final unique Canadian LP Long Tall Sally before US Capitol put the by-cosh on Canadian only releases. And of course a Canadian version of Magical Mystery Tour. Went with Stereo, because of the price of mono MMT albums are expensive. Followed by my coloured Red/Blue albums (that were kindly donated to me) And finally I noticed I had the original Red LP in my basement, but not the Blue one Toyed with the idea of getting the original UK Red/Blue LP's, but then I'd just be opening myself up to buying more, and more, and more!!!
