When the Beatles toured Australia in 1964, he accompanied a journalist friend to interview Mr. Epstein. Deciding Mr. Epstein resembled a Roman emperor, Mr. Whitaker composed a regal photograph of him. Mr. Epstein liked it and introduced him to the Beatles, who soon made him their official photographer. He made over 4800 photos during the World Tour of the fab four from 1964-1966.
I have had the privilege to meet and get to know the late Mr. Whitaker about ten years ago and become good friends. I organized several exhibitions for him and still have signed and unsigned photos that he made from The Beatles.
I am posting this here because I think these deserve to be seen during Beatles Week 2014, please enjoy:
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
