It appears that the Beatle Album Review Project has slowed down a bit. The most recent being Revolver, there were not all that many reviews. A lot fewer than Please Please Me reviews.
Anyway, am I the only person on this forum who has a Sgt. Pepper review ready for posting? What a great album that was! While EVERY album the Beatles released was (arguably) the best they had ever released, this one was a quantum leap into psychedelia and eclecticism.
I would like to see what everybody else thinks of the album. Was it released in your lifetime? And were you a Beatles fan when it came out? And were you old enough to either appreciate it or hate it?
I believe the idea of the people who run this forum is more that we post our impressions of the album and less that we're wannabe journalists/critics.
The review that I have in a Word file, ready for copying and pasting, is less extensive than some of the painstaking reviews that have been posted for past albums. What more can you say about Sgt. Pepper. Maybe that's why it hasn't been put up yet.

I'm nearly ready too. Looks like the interest in reviewing has kind of flamed out a bit.

Great movie!!!! ha-ha, NOT! It was a very cringe worthy movie. The soundtrack was difficult at times too although Aerosmith were good.
