The Light the lighted the world . George was a light that made my early teenage years a wonderful time . Buying 33 and a third and then All Things Must Pass made me become a George Harrison fan not just the fact he was a Beatle .

Strange how for the majority of his life George's birthday was officially the 24th February.

I did look that up one time because I read and heard George say he was born on the 24th. I think it was because he was born at 12:10am on the 25th, so I guess it depends on when he popped out of the chute and took his first breath on his own.

It's already the 25th right now in parts of the world, so it's George's birthday.
He would have been 72.
Now THAT'S what you should curse Sir Walter Raleigh for. George might still be alive but for the ciggies.
