I've always been a sucker for female vocalists (especially sixties girl groups) and I've always been a lover (I wish!!!) of Zooey Deschanel but I've been putting off listening to She and Him, a band which Zooey fronts, in case it was awful and put me off of her! Anyway, I finally plucked up the courage and must say their 3 albums are damn good, the songs are quite sixties-esque with more than a few nods to the Beatles (discounting their mis-judged Hawaiian-style version of I Should Have Know Better). Have a listen before I run off and marry her! www.sheandhim.com/#/news

Juliette Lewis was once in a movie called "The Other Sister," playing a mentally challenged young lady. Very convincingly so.

Having not heard any of their stuff before, I wasn't expecting Zooey Deschanel's voice to be quite so deep, I thought it was 'Him' singing but it was 'Her', sorry 'She', it's She and Him not Him and Her, goo goo goo joob!!!

Ahhh! That's who it was! I missed the introduction by Geoff Lloyd. It sounded like Carly Simon.
