If you haven't already chanced upon this website then please do so. The work that has gone into this is amazing. The Beatles section is in the 2012 link but the other albums are just as good. albumsthatneverwere.blogspot.co.uk

You can download the albums from the website. Also, the write ups for each album and why/how he put them together are all there.

When I clicked on that link, I looked for the unreleased Buffalo Springfield Stampede album. But it wasn't there. So I googled it to see if anyone else had anything on the album. Turns out they did not intend to release any such album, although proposed tracks were mentioned for it. Stampede was their label Atco's idea. Buffalo Springfield were in too much turmoil to release anything at the time, what with Neil Young leaving the band and returning and bassist Bruce Palmer continually being busted for drugs and deported. The proposed cover photo has a guy with his face concealed by a sombrero, since they were without Palmer and the guy in the sombrero wasn't him.
But if Stampede appears on albumsthatneverwere.blogspot.co.uk anyway, I won't be surprised.

Kind of a cool website idea.
I wish there was some early '80's Zeppelin lying around, because I was REALLY looking forward to the next Zeppelin album. 'Into the Outhouse' was a great transition album, but transition to what? All there is to work with (under the premise of that website) is Plant's solo records. can't believe that the musical 'geniuses' in the band went practically invisible.
Now what was my point, oh yeah, the possible follow-up to '...Out Door'.
