Good point Arthur.
I have for the past 13 years stayed at the Adelphi during Beatle week - a few years back it was quite impossible to gain entry to the gigs held at the hotel unless you had a Cavern City Tours pass or wristband, however in recent years all we have had to show is our resident's key-card. So, if it's the same set up this year, in theory you'll be able to attend all gigs at the hotel if you are a resident.

I think that is correct. If you are resident at The Adelphi during Beatle Week, you can gain access to all the events held there at no extra charge: Friday: 2pm Hall of Fame (£10); 8pm The Gig The Beatles Never Gave (£15); 11.30pm Party (£15). Saturday: 11.30pm Party (£15). Sunday: 10am-12 midnight Convention (£15) this, in theory, should be wether you are staying for BW or not (most people will be I guess).
On another note I went to The Playhouse Theatre recently to see "Once Upon A Time At The Adelphi" a play/musical set in the 1920's / 30's... it was great! I'm looking forward to being back there over the weekend, although I see it most days as until recently I was working in town and it's not unusual for me to go for a pint in Fridays Bar, however, it's not the same unless it's full of Beatle fans from all over the world.
