well, the door for where they cut thier first record sold for a good price (off the top of me head i can't remember) and John Lennon's toilet sold for £9,500 (about £11,000 by the time the fees were all added on there). So why not Paul's front door, the door where they would have all stood in front of so may times. Lennon & McCartney would have passed it before writing all the those great early songs in Paul's living room.
BTW why no mention of John's tie? (that's the lot i'm most looking forward to) or the two VERY rare concert tickets? did you just read the Echo coverage or have you bothered with the auction catalogue that's been online for about a month?
Beatle Week photo archive, hopefully gonna go all the way back to 1997 when i have time & patience for a scanner
I want a square inch of bed sheet one of them slept on!
Friend: My favorite Beatles song is Band On The Run. Me: It's not a Beatles song. Friend: Wot! That guy, that guy, Paul McCartney sings it right? Me: Yes. Friend: Alright! That one is my favorite Beatle song.
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Bobber: Not sure. It's an expensive trip for me plus I'm starting a new job around that time.

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
