Yep, Nube 9 were outstanding every time I see them. The only comment I could possibly make about them is that their guitarist appeared to be very unhappy every time I saw them, standing at the side during the gig, looking fairly bored, playing his part and then going back to standing still looking bored again. Just an observation.
Joey Molland was great on Sunday being interviewed and rocked on Monday night with the Tearaways (great to see them without their leech).
Worst gig of the week for me was CCB in the Philharmonic Hall.
Can't wait for next year...
In all the times I have seen Nube 9, he has always looked like that. I think it's just his general demeanour. My only gripe with the band is that he is never EVER loud enough on guitar.
I didn't see the Joey Molland interview. It seems that a lot of Badfinger fans aren't too keen on him as he apparently re-writes history about Badfinger when he is interviewed, taking a lot of credit for what Peter Ham. Given there is no one left alive to corroborate his stories I suppose he could say anything and the majority of people will believe him.
