mrmustard and I were watching this when we were at Day Tripper on Sunday - this clip contains an amazing version of Twist and Shout (before it became their much tamer live intro song version) - John's vocal is particularly good here! But for me the other main highlight is watching John feeding off of Ringo's incredible drumming during Long Tall Sally!
Enjoy!

I have the '64 and '65 NME shows on Bootleg DVD's and I also know that ( sadly ) the Beatles were NOT filmed for the '66 show. My question is: Where's the 1963 NME show? I know that the group made a first time appearance but was it filmed and if it was, is it lost maybe forever?

What amazes me is that the concerts haven't been snapped up by Apple. They are great performances - perhaps better than anything else out there. They could easily be cleaned up, reduce the screams, enhance the audio and packaged. It captures some of that Liverpool/Hamburg spirit on the 1964 film that is clearly missing from all other concert footage
Apple are surely missing a trick here. Who does own the rights anyway?
