Psychedelic music is really having a bit of a resurgence at the moment . Maybe YOKO should re-release her stuff now..... P.S. I still blame Yoko for the breakup of the Plastic Ono Band!

Nobody named Robbie Blunt was in Quicksilver Messenger Service, according to Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicksilver_Messenger_ServiceI'm not familiar with the name Robbie Blunt. It's possible that Blunt was in a band that got away with calling themselves Quicksilver, with is the Quicksilver Messenger Service began calling themselves after a while.

Haven't seen the Dukes of Stratosphear mentioned yet. "Chips from the Chocolate Fireball" was a 1987 release actually by XTC under the Dukes pseudonym. It's like a tour de force of 60's psychedelic music history where each song is built loosely around a well known psych song or band. Anyway, here's one of my fave tracks. The video is like a cross between the Strawberry Fields promo & MMT I Am the Walrus videos with a bit of Pink Floyd's Arnold Layne and Procol's Whiter Shade of Pale vids thrown in for good measure
