This is a new area specifically for people having problems with the new version of Proboards and in particular with its new sign in. I have set this up as an open forum so you can post in it regardless of whether you are signed in or not. This will be a temporary board and once everything is running smoothly I will integrate it with the Forum Information section. Any queries, please give us a shout. Cheers AL

any idea why typing is slow to respond (and unresponsive) in the shout box? It's fine elsewhere on the forum. I'm using an Ipad. It's ruining mine and Kite's intellectual discussions on biscuits!

Hi beatles4ever! Sorry to hear you're still having problems with the log in - have you tried the method outlined here: beatleforum.proboards.com/thread/5989/logging-turorialThere's also a video tutorial in that thread. If you still can't get in please email me at: the_end_gb@yahoo.com and I'll try and fix it from my end (no pun intended!! LOL). AL

I can't see any recent posts about it on here: support.proboards.com/board/27/report-bugsIt might just have been a server issue, which means the problem might be sorted by now... I'll have a test of it now.... EDIT: Just had a go on it and it worked fine on my Mac - which means either the problem has sorted itself out now or it's an iPad issue. You can report any bugs on the above link.

A pity the page doesn't fit on the screen well. Hiya I think this may be entirely due to the type of browser used as it fits fine at home on my Mac where I use Safari and in work on a PC where I mainly use Chrome, however I just loaded this page on Explorer and again it fits the screen fine. Can you let me know what browser and OS you use and I'll see if I can replicate the problem so I can report it to the support board. Cheers! AL

Hi Al Search Facility
Can I just mention the Search facility? Oh! I already have! I was looking for an old thread/post of mine and brought up the Search page. I was bamboozled! Faced with a plethora of options I gave it a couple of tries and then gave up and decided to search for it manually by going through each board. The Search page does seem rather confusing though. What would be nice is to have the Search page simplified. The simplest and easiest would be a 'Search Entire Forum For' field and another field e.g. 'Insert Phrase Or Topic'. I realize of course that if someone types in 'The Beatles', then it'll most likely crash! Maybe the facility could be modified so there are less options and it would be less daunting? Just a thought.

Hiya Actually, I totally agree with you but sadly it's something I've no control over as it's ProBoards facility but I will check the development forum to see if there's a solution. AL

IE, Chrome or Firefox: it didn't make any difference. Maybe I'll have to buy a bigger screen.

I'd say maybe you need to change your screen resolution but if it's fine on other forums I don't know what to suggest :/ Anyone else have problem fitting the Beatle forum page to their screen? This is how it fits to the screen on my browsers:
