It's their 'reunion' album from a year or two ago. 'Everybody Loves A Happy Ending'.
Friend: My favorite Beatles song is Band On The Run. Me: It's not a Beatles song. Friend: Wot! That guy, that guy, Paul McCartney sings it right? Me: Yes. Friend: Alright! That one is my favorite Beatle song.
I didn't spot this before so forgive my delayed comments! I'm listening to it as I'm writing this - so far I think it sounds more like ELO trying to sound like The Beatles. From 2:33 it suddenly sounds like a lost track from Paul McCartney's RAM album. 3:25... hmmm, dunno who that sounds like but the oooohs at the end are definitely a nod to the Fabs!
Overall though, sounds nothing like how I remember Tears for Fears (not saying that's a bad thing) - the bass playing is certainly a massive improvement too!
Not to hijack the thread (you guys know I would never do that, right? lol) but I was looking at some of their NEW live videos and spotted this one from last year when they were in Manila. Now just imagine when they show the audience that these kids parents are probably the ones that beat the crap out of John, Paul, George and Ringo back in '66! lol
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Bobber: Not sure. It's an expensive trip for me plus I'm starting a new job around that time.

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
