It's true, it's not an international name. In fact, it is a Frisian name, coming from one of northern parts of the country. So in fact, it's not even Dutch by that standards!

No. Friesland is one of the regions in this country. It has its own culture (more or less) and certainly language, which can be studied in university! The language is related to Danish by the way and is in Friesland commonly spoken. The language provides other names for people as well.

My fantasy. Well, in fact, I used to work in a hospital (X Ray Department). It didn't suit me, so I went back to school and my classmates called my Dr Bob because of my past. That's where the 'Bob' comes from. A very popular tv show host over here used the word 'Bopper' or 'bobber' to greet his public.

^ Interesting! I'm always interested to know where people's screenames (and real names) come from (mine's extremely obvious! )

Not anymore. I'm a copywriter these days. Cor comes from the christian name Cornelis. Probably some kind of saint, haha!

I'm going to a wedding this afternoon, so I've got to get suited and booted in a minute! Then later I am meeting up with my cousin for his birthday - a busy day!!

I'm exhausted. I had to work days and evenings last week to get things ready in time. I will be asleep at nine tonight...

I'm gonna watch Anthology 1 tonight to see if I can find the snippet of How Do You Do It by Mitch Murray. Oh, and I was busy watching a mini-series on Elvis Presley the other day. I might continue that. No, no work tonight. I'm fed up with it!
