Come on! Who voted for Linda Hamilton?! Must have been a female! Ah well . You have to look at it in another way than just being a sex goddess like Gillian . This Poll is a serious look at who is worthy of The Title . Linda did survive the Terminator , twice . We are not just Sexist Northerners are we Musty ?

I thought the whole point of the poll was who is the sexiest girl in sci-fi. There's nowt sexist about that is there?

No ,no ,no there`s nowt wrong with that. But. I have a bit of a erm . quandary Let`s go back to the 60`s and watch Barbarella Now it has a women as a lead role in an "Action " movie . But you have to say that is really a soft porn sci fi film . Then came Alien . Ripley was a bad ass lead role (which was at first a male role ) I think opened the door for women in a lead role action movies . Not really a "sexy" role as she isn`t jumping in bed with Blind angels or very strange talking huntsmen . What are your thoughts ?

Jane was cute as a button in this movie. So young and naughtily innocent looking! That evil Duran Duran torturing her in that orgasm machine.
Really other than that, it's one of the worst written and acted movies I have ever seen. It sort of made Glen Or Glenda make sense.

Good call Rocky I guess it is the very first known Sci Fi film with a "lead" Sci Fi Siren The next one to note is The Bride Of Frankenstein (1935)(One of my all timers!) With Elsa Lanchester playing Mary Shelly and the Bride . Bit of a resemblance going on with Metropolis and Ex Machina

There seems to be a lot of female robots lately (& aliens). Scarlett Johanson in Under The Skin. Alien in Under The Skin. Chappie Mommie in the final scene.
