Great read!! Anyone else read this?? Yes, I got this book. It's a good read but I did feel Emerick overstates his importance somewhat in delivering The Beatles to the world. It comes across like he feels he was just as important as George Martin, which of course is not the case. There is a thread on this subject somewhere on the forum.

Loved, loved, loved it. It's one of the most significant Beatles books in recent years, I think. You'll find hundreds of reviews on Amazon.com. You do have to account for Emerick's biases, though, which become very apparent early on. He does downplay the contributions of George Martin and George Harrison, and plays up the contributions of himself and Paul McCartney. But, his observations of The Beatles while they were creating in the studio are absolutely priceless. It's surprising that he waited so long to do a book.
