I recently had on the demo version from Anthology & like it much better than the master. The booklet doesn't mention anyone on the track but George. MO is that in addition to the later Apr version needing a RR, the sound quality is somewhat poor. It has been deleted from the RR's( on my TDK Master) but replaced by the Rascal's Groovin, which has a blown out bass similar to Something in a couple of places.
I have always thought that U Know My Name.... might have been a take-off on the classic Groovin.

I think the only issue I have with Old Brown Shoe is that it's a relatively poor mix, especially by Beatle standards. One of George's coolest solos and the band is cooking!

I coudn't agree more. One of Harrisons best guitar solos. Great song, very well performed and great vocal that is just ridiculously low in the mix that ruins it. Wouldn't have happened with a Lennon and McCartney song.
