Now I`m going to say what I think . I`m not in no way being a smart bottom or trying to upset anyone OK !
I have just listened to them there tracks and I can`t hear anything different , with apart from Help where the end is faded out and Baby It`s You has the beginning missing I have all the Stereo Remasters and they are fantastic and I don`t spend hours on end repeats if I can hear anything like a Amp turned up too loud . And while I`m at it the do not like the Mono versions of the Fabs What`s the thing with Mono ?! They invented Stereo for a reason ! Mono is awful They sound like they are coming through my old little record player in the 60`s
Sorry if I upset everyone , purists and Roscoe , I just don`t get it The Songs are there to be enjoyed ! Not spliced dice , tweaked , filled briefed debriefed or numbered . They are what they are .

Mr Kite, I’m in the same boat regarding mono. And I also find the 2009 stereo CDs the standards. I don’t see a need to tinker with them either, and now that Apple is re-releasing Beatles 1, I am not sure I want to waste my money on a new stereo mix. Maybe the tracks that are in 5.1 will sound amazing, maybe not. How much better can they really sound, and how many times will they keep redoing this?

Thanks for comments--- I'll respond later
Very Sorry for the gaff but the old upload of Baby Its You is gone. The new improved version is up. The vol gaff is most noticable at :49. r
If the beginning is still clipped pls advise as I can re-upload with another sec of pre-roll.....
I agree with both of u re: mono.

Mono vs stereo... this in argument I am going to be having with you tomorrow when I'm awake!

Mono vs stereo... this in argument I am going to be having with you tomorrow when I'm awake! For collectors like myself, I own the UK mono LPs & singles, but for pure listening enjoyment, nothing compares to the 2009 Stereo CDs. The clarity in these CDs is the Standard for me.
Now if were talking CDs vs LPs (analog vs digital), that's a whole new argument!

A reminder on This Boy. Geoff Emericks Bio was mentioned above because in it he makes note of the gaff when Norman spliced in the mid 8-- it is easy to hear. Unlike Help & Something, however the RR of This Boy seems to be the only version where the gaff has been remedied.

The prob with the mid 8 of TB is that it is Too Loud because of a bad splice job. This is described by Emerick( I believe the pg # is given above). A mid 8 that is Too Loud is the reason for RR's of I Saw Her Standing There, Baby Its You( among other things-- listen close at :49), I Me Mine & Something( among other things as well). Probably TB alone is due to a bad splice job but Loud mid 8 gaffs are none the less present in the others.
What I did with TB & the others is fade down input vol at the beginning and then fade up again at the end of mid 8 during rec. Compare RR with any of the tracks as they have been released except for Love versions of Help & Something. Voila--- the loud mid 8's are gone.
The RR of Help has also faded out Johns failed voice at the end. The prob with the Love version of Something is there is no silence before the track begins--- recording it will require a fade in.

MO is that sometimes the CD is better and sometimes the V.

My apologies to all as there apparently has been a temporary tech prob(for a few days) somewhere as the RR's seem to be back in place. Pls check out Long Long Long.....and do a comparison with std version. r

Probably has something to do with copyright infringements.

Then how is it that hundreds of thousands( if not millions) of other Beatle tracks remain uploaded? ? BTW--- This Boy is now gone as well. Over the past few months, I have written 2 letters to Abbey Road Studios addressed to Gilles Martin explaining the RR's and asking him to read this topic. Has he had then removed???--- time will tell...

Lets hope that EMI will some day release new mixes of the tracks--- besides the 2006 Love versions of Help & Something---that need it. Actually those 2 can still( see above) be improved upon. The RR's are still AWOL on youtube

Lets hope that EMI will some day release new mixes of the tracks--- The RR's are still AWOL on youtube I'll take that job. I'm certain you've read Youtube's copyright notices and rules and all that. That should explain why your RR's have gone missing. I have no idea why some peoples' stuff can remain posted for ages and someone else's is removed on day one. My youtube channel is mainly for my own music with bands and on my own. I get nailed (politely) for a 30 second vocal sample of Sinead O'Connor on a tune that is completely my own and yet, a straightforward cover version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' is completely overlooked. Who knows?

Update--- when the RR's were temporarily restored to RR Channel, I copied the IP address to one of them. Baby Its You can be heard at
Groovin is still there as well.
Pls do a critical listen and compare with std version.
I have sent Google 2 feedbacks for an explanation but no response so far.
