I saw this show at the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin last night, the end of a 22-night run, and it was brilliant. The band was the Classic Beatles, from Dublin, and they were really one of the best tribute bands I've seen. They're going to be back in August, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again. They covered every era, and the songs were interspersed with bits of film. They even re-enacted things like the Ed Sullivan Show, Shea Stadium and the rooftop performance. They're starting to rival the Backbeat Beatles as my favourite tribute band!

Haha, i know. Talked with a few promoters - the problem is them making enough money to cover our expenses to get down. Maybe you know a wee venue who might have us?

Most of the Firkin brewery pubs have live bands on Friday and Saturday nights - there's loads of those in the London area. Plus, coming out of London a little bit, there's the Standard in Walthamstow - this is a "proper" venue with professional PA, stage and lighting etc. Seen a few tribute bands there over the years.
You could promote any gigs you play in London via the British Beatles Fan Club - I've seen Pete Nash at a few Counterfeit Beatles gigs at the Standard actually.
