Reign of Fire's brilliant and bonkers in equal measure. Still have not seen Gravity, Under the Skin, or Inception.

Oh dear that list is a bit of a shocker Who did this list is obviously not a fan of the Sci Fi genre He must have just googled Sci Fi films and picked them at random ! How the hell Monsters is in there , it`s dire ! When I heard that the "Director!" was re doing Godzilla I was convinced that it was going to be dire And I was right Apart from the first half hour Get this ! there going to be a sequel ?!!! Her . Ok but blimey it`s not one I`d ever watch again The World`s End ? A typical Simon Pegg comedy that turns into a Dr.Who episode at the end ? ! Children Of Men is ok , but No 1 ?! Better than Gravity ?!!! , Sunshine !!! , Inception ... District 9, Minority report ...!? Bonkers . Now then Under The Skin . One of the best Sci Fi films ever made or the worst ? That is a question . Oh ! just finished watching 11 23 63 A fantastic mini series

I read this might be a pretty good NEW sci-fi to watch...
And 11-22-63 was the best thing I've seen on TV in quite awhile.

Just finished watching 'The 5th Wave'. Started out real good, then turned into a 'where all the actors and everything is aimed at the under 21 crowd' movie.

Just finished watching 'The 5th Wave'. Started out real good, then turned into a 'where all the actors and everything is aimed at the under 21 crowd' movie. Yeh , it started off really well and then just went silly Just watched the new Star Wars film ?! If you seen the first one ( y`know the 70`s one ) you are basically watching a re make Droid has a message finds someone who start`s to find the force and the Villain is related to one our heros , gang plank fight.... And goe`s on and on . Now where`s my Wrath Of Khan ( the 80`s one ) Cute little robots were around years before Lucas went round and robbed all the best bits from Sci Fi classics Yes , George I know ...

I hav`nt no . But I will get on it . But I watched 10 Cloverfield Lane Loved it , really loved it ! a lot . And it has Mary Elizabeth Winstead in it which made me love it even more ! I hope she just sticks with Sci Fi for the rest of her career as she will be a Sci Fi Siren legend And for those who hav`nt seen The Thing with her in it .. Why the hell not ! Got lined up The Midnight Special and Kill Command . Lookin forward to those . Here`s Mary !

I'm putting 10 Cloverfield Lane more into the horror category than sci-fi. 120 mins. of horror 10 mins. of sci-fi. lol But like you said, Mary was very good in it. Finished watching 'Approaching The Unknown'. Not very good, 6 out of 10.

I think if you put Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield back to back you would have that "invasion" in the back of your mind and I hope there is another one to follow you will have a crackin trilogy ! Here is Kubrick on the set of 2001 A Space Odyssey

My love of sci-fi seems to go along with my love of music. Doctor Who was the first sci-fi show that I watched. And still a fan of it all these years later. But also enjoy Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Blake's 7 to name a few.

Gustav Holst - Mars brew. I think he wrote this around the WWI era. One of my favorite 'Planets' that he wrote.
