I`AM ONLY 40YRS YOUNG, BUT I GOT THE BOX SET OF "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" ABOUT 20YRS AGO.IF I`AM HONEST I DIDN`T GIVE IT MUCH PLAYING AT ALL AS I WAS MORE INTO THE BEATLES AS A GROUP THEN. HAVING WATCHED THE NEW DOCUMENTRY "LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD" I RENEWED MY INTEREST IN GEORGE WHO IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED IN MY OPINION. I THEN WENT AND BOUGHT THE CD BOX SET OF "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" AND WOW!!!.THIS IS AN AMAZING BOX SET.THE SONGS OR SO BEAUTIFUL.GEORGES LYRICS OR GREAT.IN FACT THIS IS NOW TOPPING MY LIST OF FAVOURITE BEATLES SOLO ALBUMS. CREDIT TO GEORGE!!

A.T.M.P. is one of my all time fav albums . I know I have a lot of all times but this truly is .
It always has a X mas feel for me as I had it for a present at erm,X Mas 1977 as it was a bit expensive at the time for a 15 schoolboy . It is a brilliant album and shows that George was not just a guitarist in the best band ever . My fav of favs

I've finally managed to get a hold of the 2 CD disc of All Things Must Pass today , after failing to find this is Fopp I went to HMV but had no joy there, like all the other shops they had most of George Harrison's back catalogue but not his most famous one, eventually I went to one of my favourite independents Sister Ray on Berwick St and picked up a copy . I'll be playing it tomorrow on my day off. I hope my neighbour is out so i can "pump up the volume". In other news HMV is selling The Magical Mystery Tour on vinyl for £35 , again i'm shocked...and stunned " at the price hike on Beatles albums.

I enjoyed that. Georges voice sounds deep which surprised me.

Ok folks lets talk about All Things Must Pass 50th Ani.
Have you bought it ?
Which one did you buy ?
Is it worth it ?
How does it sound ?
Or as with me . Havn`t bought it yet ?
Here is a video (a long one ) of the unboxing of the Uber box set .
Is it worth it ? I think not and I`m sure glad I didn`t have that madness and money to buy it And I don`t know about you but that statue is more Ghandalf than George
I will be back and I will give you my honest opinion of this release .

The one I seen on eBay they wanted $1,970! About twice as what it was worth! If it was my favorite album of all time I would think about getting it, but it's not. But I do like the little gnome's to put out in my garden, but they're probably $100 a piece. (I haven't seen them sold separately yet, but I'm sure someone will put them up for sale eventually.) DHANI SITTING IN THE SAME SPOT AS HIS DAD 50 YEARS LATER! I'm just wondering if this was just photo-chopped?
