I love the song "Where Have All The Good Times Gone," this song rocks! Even VAN HALEN did a great version of this song in 1982.

I watched the Dave Davies BBC documentary the other day - amazed me just how much he undersold himself as a guitarist! Great vocalist too! Anyone else see it?

NO WAY!!! Oh God I would absolutely love to see him live - I can't believe I haven't yet! Failed at getting tickets for the Electric Proms etc but really want to see him in a smaller venue and not a seated one! But the Ray Davies documentary was good - he's a funny guy but I can't bring myself to read about the things he's said and done to his brother! You will love the Dave Davies programme by the way - what a really nice guy he is! Funnily enough, as I'm writing this I'm adding The Kinks Remasters to my iTunes - finally got round to doing it!!

i've been lucky, seen Ray live twice now (2001 and a few days ago)- both times his live version of Days sends shivers down the spine (accapella - just him!)
the first time was a simple show just him and a guitar player he was reading extracts from X-ray and then they'd do a relavant song.
If you are a Kink's fan you MUST see him live
X-ray is a great read and so is short story collection Waterloo Sunset

I dunno, I've confused myself now! LOL! Days is definitely a favourite of mine too, but one song that always nearly brings me to tears is "Young And Innocent Days" especially poignant as you pass 40 and beyond (at least it is to me)!
