I'm a big fan of their earlier stuff (mod era) - they got a bit too rocky for me!

I'm a big Who fan too. I like the early stuff but much prefer the later period from 69 onwards - I do like my rock! Quadrophenia takes it over Who's Next for me. The whole four sides are incredible. The Real Me, The Punk and the Godfather, 5.15, Love Reign O'er Me, I'm One are just some examples of Townshend at his peak and the band playing to a level that's rarely achieved in rock. Rock music doesn't get much better than this!

I love Quadrophenia. and The Who Sell Out. I'm quite fond of the High Number sides, "I'm The Face" etc...
I love some of those B-sides too, like "Daddy Rolling Stone", "Disguises" and other singles like "Early Morning, Cold Taxi" and "Dogs".
I like to support the underdogs. (but only if they're good)

(but only if they're good) I've always loved the WHO'S NEXT album from 1971, all four members were on fire and in the zone during the WHO'S NEXT recording sessions.

They should've included "Pure And Easy" on Who's Next.

They should've included "Pure And Easy" on Who's Next. That would have definitely made the WHO'S NEXT album better, its a great album now!

Hi liddypool! Its been cold and wet here in Texas U.S.A. Ireland has produced some great acts during Rock n' Roll's glorious past, VAN MORRISON, THIN LIZZY and U2 are just three of them. Take care.
