This raises a question when The Beatles first visited America, did people understand their accent. I think the issue with Johnny interview is that he is such a fast talker you need to just concentrate. His love of guitars in the interview was lovely as was the love a comics.

When the Beatles came we just thought they talked funny. We could understand them though. I remember at first having a hard time figuring out which one was talking they sounded the same. Then after time and listening to them we knew the difference between their voices.

Did you get a chance to try that interview again Rocky?

I tried again pothos, but that guy interviewing Johnny is annoying as hell saying 'yeah' every two seconds! If he would have just been quite it would have been a much better interview. I tried to pick out a few words Johnny is saying, but I don't know what he is talking about. Maybe there is a transcript of this interview somewhere.

I think an edited version is in Ants book.

I think the revelation in that interview is the existence of The Morgue Skiffle Cellar photographs his impression of George and John. He seems adamant that they were a worthy band at least live interesting comments about his love of the three piece band set up. How he had American comics that were banned back in the day. He sounded guarded about other stuff. He had loads of posters worth a lot if on the open market he sold a guitar he regretted and the famous Keiserkeller poster. I think it was never meant as an interview just a chat between mates but we now know those photo's exist.

If Ant didn't see the Morgue Skiffle Cellar photos when he was doing his book pothos I think they might be with Johnny's copy of the Akustik Studio disc.

I think they are with Johnny's Widow and she seems very guarded with her privacy.

My disc arrived. Relieved it arrived in one piece. Disc is in great shape but the cover oddly has Little Children by Billy J Kramer written on the cover. Looking for more vinyl 45's now.

I've been buying Hank Williams 78 rpm's for my collection and they are more fragile than 45's or lps and have never received a broken one. Usually if the seller takes time in packing you will be safe. That's kool pothos that you are buying RSATH's vinyl collection. He didn't have that many singles. I remember I bid on a rare Columbia promo of "I Can Tell", but lost out to another bidder.

Got the first three on the list and the Merseybeat compilation on CD. That parlaphone disc looks rare and I noticed a couple of the singles came with picture sleeves but they will be impossible to get hold of.

That's an old Columbia album. I'll have to check the internet if one is for sale. I know eBay doesn't have any.
