I'll write it!!!! Anyway, to cut a VERY long story short.... She didn't have confirmation from Cavern City Tours of my extra night stay at the Adelphi. So instead of contacting CCT, she decided it would be far simpler to argue the toss with me at the reception desk in front of a shitload of hotel guests and staff, despite me having written confirmation of my stay! She then just told us in no uncertain terms to pack up and go! Nice! The sort of customer service you'd expect to find in a certain hotel in Torquay!

Can you liken yourself to any particular player - past or present? By the way, lucky that camera didn't have a strong flash - we would have seen right up the leg of your shorts!! LOL

You can tell its the 80s with them short shorts My first Football hero was Dennis Law and then Lou Macari , but when the Doc got Utd playing with attacking wingers , i sort of thought myself as a Steve Coppell . Always had admired him up until the 1990 Cup final repley when his side Crystel Palace tried to kick every Utd player off the pitch

I've just discovered myself and my brother on YouTube I thought this was an appropriate place to post - it is a 'pic' of sorts. And the music is awesome. Probably the best band we saw during Beatleweek last year (2007). They were The Backwards. My brother is the one saying "fabulous" all the time and I'm the gormless (pissed) looking one next to him not able to say anything! Take a look:

Fabulous!! I didn't get to see them last year - but I'll check them out this time! Will you be going to 2008 Arthur? You can bet your sweet bippy I am, mate Brother and I arriving on the Saturday morning, checking into The Holiday Inn after lunch then hitting Mathew Street. Leaving on the Tuesday. One of these years we're gonna spend the whole week there, finances and work commitments providing. I do hope The Backwards are appearing this year. They have superb 'scouse' accents and they're from Slovakia! No doubt this forum will be keeping us up to date with developments, venues and bands as and when? Can't wait!
