Thats a great idea Al - when we know the fuller programme maybe you could suggest as time and place! Name badges and all that!! (joke, of course!). Seriously though, any suitable time and it would be a laugh......lets get a kitty going!!!

I like the sound of the Summer of Love party on the Monday night into the early hours, makes a change from the Overtures party although they are still taking part though on the Tuesday. I'll probably keep nipping back and forth between Cavern Back and Cavern Front just to keep it Beatles. Although the Overtures best of British gig will obviously mean no Beach Boys numbers because of course the Beach Boys are American. Anyway best of British is the Beatles. Keep BW Beatles as I have said before just joking now, anyone remember that from the other forum. After my first experience of Halls of Residence last year (Grand Central Unite) I am toying with the idea of booking the Lord Nelson Hotel for the sake of having breakfast included. Then just book the tickets. Because my other full Beatle Week packages (1995 to 2001 inclusive) had all been hotels, with of course breakfast included. Single supplement making the hotel side of the BW packages so expensive now, so it is either the Lord Nelson plus individual tickets or Grand Central Unite and try the Pilgrim that I have heard so much about from TrevPrellie et al. I shall more than likely be booking up.

Hi Cath!! I saw you many times last year and was VERY impressed! It really was something different - in a good way! Your versions of Let Me Roll It and Don't Let Me Down were one the highlights of Beatle Week last year - very refreshing and original arrangements. Really looking forward to seeing The Beatelles (great name by the way!) this year I remember you all sitting on the floor in one of the clubs at The Adelphi chatting to Julia Lennon at about 4 in the morning! Looks like she had great words of encouragement for you

yes she did, wonderful lady, very inspiring. We have a few pics to add onto the forum so i will be placing them on soon. A few interesting charachters appear every now and then. Im hoping The Mad Dogs can come this year and i there is a rumour flying about, Another female band is in the midst called The Cavern Kittens . I must find out if this is true. We need a bit more female backup at these gigs ..too many men to handle.

I can't remember any men being handled! LOL You're right though - it would be great to have more female bands, the list has been growing over the past few years though. Do you know Rob? He's down the Cavern all the time.

Ah! Rob's a member here too - he's Nowhere Man! You probably don't know me unless you saw me getting drunk with Rob on a number of occasions last year! LOL! Anyway, this is me and Julia at Beatle Week last year (I'm the one on the left!) - this pic was taken with my mobile by Hal Bruce!
