If you had to pick one Beatles song. What would it be? In essence, what is you favorite Beatles song? I also ask that no one says any two songs are tied. (Just to make it more difficult LOL)

My favourite Beatles songs do chop and change but my favourite song of all-time has for as long as I can remember been In My Life.

Hey Jude is probably my favorite song of theirs to listen to, but as a musician, Helter Skelter and Revolution 9 had the biggest artistic impact. That's a different thing.

Well, I'm weird..my favorite song of all time is Across the Universe, but I can't say that's my favorite Beatles song because it's not really The Beatles...so, I say All You Need Is Love. It's always the first song when my friends are like "Well you like the Beatles, but I've never really listened to them.." That moment I pull out my phone and play them that song interpreting all the lyrics into an awesome dance. I know, it's dorky.

Hard one but I think overall 'Get Back' is the one i've returned to the most over the years. I just never get tired of Lennons lead guitar, Ringos drum roll and the end and McCartneys singing on it

I just never get tired of Lennons lead guitar, Ringos drum roll and the end and McCartney's singing on it Get Back is a great song but the best thing about it is the performance. Everyone is contributing something of real value. Ringos drumming just sets it apart from any ordinary rock 'n' roll song. I hate the way drummers in bands who cover this song just play a straight four four and omit the shuffle on the snare which is fundamental to the song. McCartney keeps it simple but perfect and locks in with Ringo so tightly. Great vocal too. John plays a great guitar part but the real star of the star of the song for me is George. His big open chords on his Telecaster in the chorus just give the song a huge dynamic and take it too another level. It's a perfect example of how George, as a guitarist, worked from within a song rather than making his guitar the prominent feature of the song that so many lead guitarists would do. Immense!

Yeah great assessment mrmustard !! And also don't forget what Billy Preston brings to the song as well The amazing thing is that how great this performance is compared to some of the other horrible out of tune jams (e.g. you really got a hold on me ,across the universe) and yet they rose their game when you would not have betted on it at the time
