I gotta go with "Abbey Road" on the strength of side 2 alone.

Its Revolver hands down! First album I ever heard, but after years and years of hearing all the albums over and over as well as bootlegs, Revolver is a pivotal album and still the best sounding to me. Second is prolly Rubber Soul. I love the acoustic mellow feel and cover of Rubber Soul. But the edgier more psychedelic Revolver gets me every time! She Said She Said could be my favorite song of all time.

I went with The White Album. First off, it's got four of George's best songs. It's also got some of my faves by both John (Cry Baby Cry, Yer Blues, Dear Prudence) and Paul (Mother Nature's Son, Helter Skelter, Martha My Dear). It's just so creative and weird and different.

I hate to waste bandwidth, but no Beatle album is far behind any other Beatle album in quality. I used to say that their top 3 albums were Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper, and Abbey Road. Then I got the Revolver CD and have to include that with the other three as their top 4 albums.
But if I have to vote, put me down for Abbey Road (so I don't waste bandwidth), again on the strength of "side two." (CDs don't have two sides.) Since they knew it would probably be their last album and they wouldn't have to put up with one another any more, they all gave it their best shot.

I can't decide between Sgt. Pepper and The White Album. Sgt. Pepper is very different, but the white album is longer with alot of great songs. i'll go with The White Album. there's some very catchy, but not nessarily good songs in it (i'm looking at you obla-di-obla-da and the continuing story of bungalow bill) and some proper gems (E.G. While my guitar gently weeps, glass onion, dear prudence, revolution 1)

Really tough one this...but I voted for Rubber Soul as it was that one that really turned me from a bit of a Beatles sceptic to Beatles obsessive over 2 years ago. Norwegian Wood, In My Life, Girl...it also showed me how John was the one whose songs touched me most. I go through phases with all the albums though.

The Beatles (Or, the White Album if you must...) is my favorite album of all time. The diversity heard on that record is nowhere near as great as any other Beatles album. With genres ranging from dance hall to hard rock, there's a track for everyone on this album. This is the record that taught me to appreciate all types of music, no matter how different from the norm. Of course, one may argue that this album is "rubbish" because the Beatles weren't playing as a group. The band was in fact "falling apart" at this time, and that's what makes the album so amazing. The band was barely even functioning as a band and instead of seeing what the band can do as a whole (see: Rubber Soul, Help!), we get to see the individual talents of each member of the group. Everybody was writing songs at this time, everyone was playing fantastic music. With some of John's best compositions such as "Julia" and "Happiness Is a Warm Gun," and some of Paul's most well known tunes like "Martha My Dear" and "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," along with George's (and even Ringo's!) greatest songs, this album shows not only how talented the Beatles really were, but also how far they've come from "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "She Loves You." This album has everything an album needs, and more. It has songwriting from all four band members, some of the best musicianship I've ever seen from the band, and musical diversity that was unheard of at the time. This album has popular tunes like "Birthday" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," but also includes gems that you just don't hear on the radio like "Long, Long, Long" and "Honey Pie." Also, each Beatle's voice is so different from the other band members that it's such a great listening experience to hear all their different ways of singing; Ringo crooning one minute to "Don't Pass Me By," and later you're hearing Paul smoothly sing "I Will," or John's raucous vocals on "Yer Blues." This album has had such an impact on me that it is hard not to choose anything but this album. Nuff said, my friends. Nuff said.

Hmm,it's Either Help Or Revolver. Help has a taste of what to come in Rubber Soul, while still having the sound of the early beatles records, and ther's alot of great obscure songs on there (Namely 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy' and 'You Love me too much' Among Others) and Revolver is pretty unique cos it's not early pop and rock records like 'Love Me Do' or 'A Hard Days Night' but it's not the later sound like 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Let it Be' Either. it's a very different sound to all the other albums.
(Oh dear i've noticed i've posted again. i'll put the white album down with those two aswell just to show my last post wasn't a waste of time. but my taste in the albums does change like sprucies. a few months ago,Sgt Pepper was the best, then less months,Rubber Soul, then The White Album,Then Help! etc)

Revolver for me. It was just so experimental for its time with "She said" and "Tomorrow Never Knows". I'm sure a lot of fans at the time must have thought "what's going on here?". It was just before the hippies and the drug culture emerged into the mainstream. If you weren't part of that scene you would have had a clue what it was all about.

Magical Mystery Tour.
EVERY song on that album, WITHOUT exception, is INCREDIBLE.
