Looking good! Thanks for adding a link to the Tony Sheridan Forum, although it's pretty quiet up there.

Looking good! Thanks for adding a link to the Tony Sheridan Forum, although it's pretty quiet up there. You're welcome. Any more worthy causes that should be added to the links?

Well, I can think of one! It's already on there. I just added Stuart Sutcliffe, Pete Best, and The Quarrymen.

im not really understanding this site but a friend of mine does alot of great bootleg dvds and cds, like every single take of every albumn for everysong. And listening to it , you can just imagine being in the studion with them. or the first beatles anthology released in 1982 on dvd called The Compleat Beatles. Also the let it be sessions on dvd and a dvd full of interviews...i love bootleg stuff..but if my work found out i think id get a bit of a ticking off ..so ssshhh

Sorted now. Just think of all those members I've just lost you! Blimey, I've had 63 hits on that site in 24 hours! Did I really get excited about 63 hits!!? After the flurry of interest generated from the Rolling Stone article, the hits per day seem now to have stabilised at around 7,500!!

What Rolling Stone article? BEST DIY REISSUES Beatles Remasters The Beatles' albums came out on CD in 1987, but fans have long complained that the early digital technology used to remaster the recordings left them sounding hollow and thin — and that the official remasters are way overdue. That's where Purple Chick comes in — a secretive fan (or group of fans) who has been quietly remastering classic discs like Revolver and A Hard Day's Night, and releasing the digital files for free online. How is this possible? The Beatles' CDs sound so bad that carefully digitized tracks from pristine vinyl copies are noticeably better — with crisper highs, a fuller soundstage, and more realistic reproduction of instruments and voices. And the Purple Chick editions are superior to the originals in other ways, too: The Sgt. Pepper collection contains the original record in mono and stereo, and four discs' worth of studio outtakes; the White Album comes in a whopping twelve-disc version, including alternate takes, studio chatter, demos and fascinating jams. So how do you get this stuff? Google is your friend: Try searching "purple chick and megaupload" to get started. ANDY GREENE www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/20200609/page/20You get better results searching by title and with Google set to "images" (virtually all the bootleg blogspots include a picture of the cover), but I don't see why I should let Andy Greene or the RIAA in on that.
