Check out this lot. Just came across them by accident really whilst looking for some new music. Anyway, the blog states their influences as Byrds, Kinks, Who, Buffallo Springfield, Beatles . . . you know the kind of thing - heavily influenced by sixties psychedelia and the music of that era. Fairly recent (in the whole scheme of things) band too but unashamedly haven't let that affect them playing the music they clearly love. By the way, can you spot the Beatles link in the band's name?

Reminds me of a cross between Kings of Leon (Mollys Chambers) and Oasis - in a good way!
Oh, and the Beatle link is from How I Won The War in which John Lennon played Private Gripweed!

The Grip Weeds had so many good songs in the bag that they decided to release a double album.The Grip Weeds are an American rock band from Highland Park.Rainbow Quartz released the band’s latest album,the double CD and double vinyl LP Strange Change Machine in June of 2010.
