Hi guys, just a question re the John memorial concert in Liverpool in December , the tickets go on sale April 9th and there has been no publicity released as to the lineup of artists appearing on the night, I presume this might be an attempt to keep the touts at bay for as long as possible ( please don,t get me started on touts !) whilst genuine fans will want to attend what ever - so any rumours as to who IS muted to be in the lineup - I notice Paul Weller is in concert at the Echo arena the night prior to John,s memorial bash ! best wishes , In my life

Hi there , if you Google "Acc tickets Liverpool" all the information re the John concert is up there , still limited tickets available. This bash will be the culmination of the "Lennon season" being celebrated in the city between October 9th and December 9th !! These events will by all accounts include a "Lennon Weekend" , imagine it will be something along the lines of "Beatle week" but with the emphesis being on John, his life and works !! ,best wishes , In my life

I got this information on thr internet. In case anyone here has not seen it yet.I won't be going myself. But I live in California,USA.I am just going to cut and paste this again that I have allready posted online on other boards. If anyone wants to get their tickets for the John Lennon Peace Monument. That Julian Lennon and his mom will be dedicating.Better get your tickets soon.Because I think they are going to go fast. The 18ft monument entitled 'Peace and Harmony' will be unveiled by Julian and Cynthia Lennon in a prestigious ceremony in October as part of the John Lennon Tribute Season. The monument will emulate New York's Strawberry Fields memorial by attracting thousands of visitors wishing to celebrate the life and spirit of John Lennon, as well as becoming an iconic peace symbol for Britain. The monument has been created by American teen art prodigy Lauren Voiers and is being gifted to the Beatles Story and the City of Liverpool by California-based organisation Global Peace Initiative. The Liverpool ECHO, Beatles Story and Liverpool ONE have teamed up to offer you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to attend an exclusive John Lennon event. It will celebrate the unveiling of a special European peace monument created in his honour. The event takes place at 11.30am in Chavasse Park, Liverpool One on Saturday 9th October 2010 - what would have been his 70th birthday. A total of 500 pairs will be given away to the public. myecho.liverpoolecho.co.uk/promotions/Get-tickets-for-Lennon-event/?utm_source=beatles_story_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=tickets_to_the_unveiling_of_the_european_peace_monument
