looks like the Swedish booking form is ready! En Suite Saunas in The Adelphi are already SOLD OUT. FLABBA (Overweight tribute band) are on stand by in case Nube 9 miss the flight. All fans should get the train to Waterloo on the Merseyrail Northern Line where there will be be quizes and competitions and The Winner Takes It all.

as i've mentioned on another board that brochure may not be too accurate.
They have the auction listed as Sunday at the Adelphi, BUT its at LIPA Saturday as with the previous years.
I know most of you don't go but it does make you wonder about the accuracy of everything else there.

Good point Alix! Hopefully the official one will be out soon - it's VERY late this year!

Hmmm... interesting. Obviously not 100% accurate as Alix pointed out, but a lot of the stuff in this leaflet matches the more reliable rumours I've been hearing - so think there's definitely some truth in it. Interesting line up too - feels a bit like a best of - lots of shows from previous years. Let's hope the Samba Party works out better this year - though with the quality of South American bands over the last few years it should be a blinder. Looking forward (as always) to seeing the Overtures. Can't wait to go back to the Casbah again too, it's been much too long (Also -just want to point out that the Casbah is the Tardis in reverse). Have an inordinate amount of fondness for Gerry and the Pacemakers too (me and Alix know all their punchlines off by heart). Think I'm most excited for the Anglican Cathedral show - sounds really different - can't wait. Rhian P.S. Sorry I've been missing for a while, have finally got my internet sorted and should be around more.

Great to have you back with us Rhian!
I spoke to Den of the Overtures on New Years Eve and he said they're only playing one gig this year and from his description, it sounds like it is going to be held in one of the theatres and not the Adelphi, meaning it will be all seated. How pants is that?
He said he would absolutely love to play the amount of gigs the other bands play but it's out of his hands.

Sorry I've been missing for a while, have finally got my internet sorted and should be around more. my panic was more over the losing Sunday to the auction. Was not impressed by that idea at all i love the casbah - (except the no photo policy), but just confused as i remember that in 1999 even with the marque it was deemed so small it could only be done by doing two shifts. But Rhi, don't you think Gerry's got a new joke book by now? No wait it's Gerry he just changes which keyboardist is the recovering alcoholic laying in the zebra crossing rather than the jokes.
