I read this a few months ago and really enjoyed it. One of my favorite Beatles related books. I'm at the point where I've read a million "biography" books and that doesn't really do it for me anymore. I'm more interested in reading about the music and the recording of their music.
Right now I'm reading "The Beatles As Musicians" and I find it very interesting (warning: it's for those with an interest in music theory.)

I'm just finishing Larry Kane's book on the '64 and '65 U.S. tours, and then I'm going to start Geoff's book. Really looking forward to it-Imperial Bedroom is one of my favorite Costello albums, and of course reading all of his stories about the making of Revolver, Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road should be very insightful and thrilling. After that I'm starting 'Revolution in the Mind.' Really looking forward to that one too!

Nice complimentary promotional video interview with Geoff in 3 parts. Pick up parts 2 and 3 on the scroll bar at the bottom when the clip ends.

Thanks for this. Loved the book and interesting to hear Emerick speak.
